Privacy Policy

Dailies is operated by Locked In Life LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who else can see it. It describes how the app actually works today.

What we collect

Your account. When you sign up we store your email address and which method you signed up with (Google, Apple, or email and password). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and name from them. We never receive your password for those accounts.

Your profile. Your first and last name, profile photo, bio, and the interests you select. Your invite code, and the code of the person who invited you if you joined through one.

Your location. If you allow it, we store your most recent approximate coordinates on our server. We use them for one thing: working out which nearby activities are close enough to show you. We store only your latest position and the time it was recorded — not a history of your movements. We do not collect location when the app is closed.

Activities and RSVPs. If you host an activity, we store its title, description, start time, place name, formatted address, coordinates, category, how far out you want it visible, and any capacity limit. If you cancel it, we store when, and any short reason you give, which only you and the people who RSVP’d can see. If you RSVP to someone else’s activity, we store that you did and when. Messages you post in an activity’s chat are stored with your name and the time you sent them; only the host and people who have RSVP’d can read them, and the host can delete any message in their activity.

Your dailies. Your list of daily commitments, whether you have completed them, and your streak, completion history and related progress are kept on your device and, when you are signed in, saved to our server against your account so they survive a cleared browser or a new phone. The names of your current dailies, whether each is done today, and your current streak are shown on your profile to other members in range (see below). Your completion history and past days are never shown to anyone else.

Basic usage data. Our hosting provider records standard web analytics — page views, approximate country, device type and referring site. This is aggregate traffic data and is not tied to your profile.

What other members can see

Your profile — first and last name, profile photo, bio, interests, badges, your current dailies, whether each is done today, and your current streak — is visible to other members in range: members whose last saved location is within 20 miles of yours, and members who can see an activity you host or have RSVP’d to. Members you block, or who block you, cannot see your profile. There is no feed or ranking of members. Activities you host are visible to members whose location falls inside the radius you choose. Members who RSVP to an activity can see who else has RSVP’d.

Your personal location coordinates are never shown to other members. An activity’s exact spot — its place name, address and coordinates — is visible to its host and people who RSVP, or to any member who can see the activity if the host chooses that option. Other viewers see only the town, when available, and rounded distance. Signed-out share previews never show the exact spot.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the app:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile for as long as your account exists. Activities and RSVPs are kept so the board stays accurate. Your stored coordinates are overwritten each time your location updates. Activity chat messages are kept until you or the host delete them. When you report someone, we store the report with your account, who you reported, and the message if there was one, so we can review it; you can also email extra details. When you block someone, we store that with your account so it works on every device, and neither of you can read the other’s messages. Unblock from Profile at any time.

Deleting your account

Email support@getlockedinlife.com and ask us to delete your account. We will delete your profile, your saved dailies and progress, your stored location, your RSVPs, your activity chat messages and the activities you hosted within 30 days.

Your choices

You can edit or clear your profile at any time from the profile screen. You can refuse or revoke location permission in your device settings — the app still works, you just will not see nearby activities. You can ask us what we hold about you by emailing support@getlockedinlife.com.

Age

Dailies is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email support@getlockedinlife.com and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you in the app.
